Job Duties

• Lead department Supervisors to meet daily production activities within designated departments.
• Coordinate production supervisors and employees such that production schedules, operational excellence objectives, quality standards, housekeeping standards, maintenance goals and cost goals are met and that safe work practices are adhered to.
• Communicate and work closely with personnel and the Manager regarding these activities.
• Ensure that employees are properly trained and seek out ways to advance their skills and capabilities
• Evaluate and anticipate work volume and assign/distribute work accordingly.
• Responsible for coaching, motivating, and developing direct reports to successfully take on additional responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-7 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Occasional travel (0-5%)
• Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational school diploma, formal apprenticeship or equivalent trades training and 6-8 years’ experience in related preparatory classifications.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or Business.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Specialized courses or seminars in supervisory and administrative subjects.
• SAP knowledge.
