The Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Lead manages a team of analysts responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing information regarding Cyber Security threats and disseminating actionable threat intelligence to Systems owners. Implement products and procedures to enhance security productivity and effectiveness. The lead is focused on program direction, setting strategy, managing the team, and leading content dissemination among system owners.

Key responsibilities include:
Information Security
Develops CTI strategy to align to business and Cyber Organization goals.
Manages day-to-day operations of team and performs quality control on products prior to dissemination to internal stakeholders/executives.
Obtains and maintains collection requirements from stakeholders.
Coordinate with other teams.
Delivers intelligence to stakeholders and senior management, presents as necessary.
Maintains CTI policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Security Products
Evaluate and implement products and procedures to enhance security.
Identify new threat tactics, techniques and procedures used by cyber threat actors.
Acquire threat intelligence and technical indicators from external sources; develop tactical intelligence and technical indicators internally and collaborate with the SOC often.
Research emerging security products, services, protocols, and standards, in support of security development and enhancement efforts.
Recommend, deploy, and oversee the monitoring of additional security products and tools or enhancements to existing tools.
Security Support
Daily threat intelligence monitoring through open and closed sources.
Provide day to day analysis of threats that have the potential to impact the business.
Evaluate data sources for consideration in the improvement and expansion of the threat intelligence program.
Management
Exceptional time management is required to balance strategic and operational support needs in day-to-day activities.
Ensure appropriate resources are in place to support all security technology initiatives.
Lead and direct the activities of the Cyber Threat Intelligence team.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members.
Manage the Performance Management process for direct reports.
Communicate key priorities and monitor their progress.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in systems or related discipline required.
7+ years of relevant work experience.
Prior management experience.
Experience in the financial services industry.
Experience with industry information security standards and practices, including applicable laws related to data privacy and protection.
Experience with network and security components, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software and data encryption.
Experience with operating platforms, database and sub-system platforms and products.
Ability to handle multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines.
Strong problem solving, organizational and project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong relationship and people management skills.
