Your New Role
This position holds a key role with the People Relations leadership team and is responsible for overseeing and implementing process improvements that serve both the internal PR team as well as the external partners such as P&C, Labor Relations and employment legal. A key priority for this role is overseeing, managing, and reporting on all data housed by PR, which includes CaseIQ, working files and legacy systems and documents. This position manages the vendor relationship with CaseIQ and the processes necessary to adapt the system over time. The role also utilizes the data to prepare and analyze outputs from CaseIQ which includes quarterly reports that go to the board and reporting for P&C.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Serve as the project leader for CaseIQ or other systems, ensuring all reporting deliverables are executed on time and all stakeholders (PR, Legal, LR, Technology, vendor) are engaged. Includes analyzing themes, trends and metrics. Ensure the quarterly board report is timely and accurate.
- Lead a team including executive management from PR, Legal, Labor Relations, Technology and the vendor to ensure systems are functional, fit for purpose and compliant with relevant rules and regulations, such as global data privacy rules. Includes ensuring all stakeholders are trained and have up to date access to appropriate data.
- Serve as a SME and direct work for all things related to PR data, PR case management systems, PR’s receipt of and response to concerns from compliance, ethicspoint, and the PR inbox. May oversee a small team including one direct report.
- Provide global support to the PR team with a focus on removing operational barriers which includes ensuring all partnerships needed for investigations are active and up to date (examples: forensic requests for data are requested and received in a timely manner, ensuring the connection with appropriate EAP partners in crisis or threat situations, ensuring updated global resources exist for entire PR team that guide work such as quick reference guides, templates, procedures, etc.
- Be available to manage full cycle investigations that are highly complex
- Lead audits for our internal systems to ensure cases are updated appropriately and closed in a timely manner
- Assist the Head of the Department with Ad Hoc requests and special projects, including reports, executive data requests, presentations and decks
- Create, update and manage the PR intranet and other resources provided for management training, new hire orientation and roadshow decks. Ensure consistent PR branding and messaging to partners and employees.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7 years of experience with HR, PR, or HR/PR operations
- BA/BS degree
- MBA or other advanced coursework preferred
- Working knowledge of case management systems, data analytics and metrics
- Organizational/process flow and design
- Hands on investigation experience
- Experience and knowledge of HR policies, practices and procedures
- Ability to handle multiple projects at a fast pace
- Excellent follow through and sense of urgency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
- Able to utilize diplomacy, assertiveness and adaptability in dealing with others in organization and vendors
- Ability to research and analyze data and findings
- Operative knowledge of federal and local laws governing employment issues
