Senior Staff Partner Engineer

Drive large scale customer & partner implementations and ensure usage of internal, proprietary, cross border platforms such as; RippleNet, and LiquidityHub, Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). Provide functional and technical expertise to achieve the business objectives of both customer & partner and Ripple. Partner with Ripple's Product and Engineering teams to bring new products & features to market and on collecting, refining, and prioritizing customer & partner requirements. Drive product maturation via customer/partner feedback and ideation work with Product Management and Engineering. Articulate best practices with respect to the business and technical integration of Ripple's technology. Advise and guide customers & partners to achieve maximum benefits from their implementation. Drive results by overcoming barriers and makes decisions based on consideration of customer & partner objectives, Ripple objectives, and by soliciting input from key stakeholders. Break down project objectives into manageable tasks and milestones, assembles and guides both internal and external resources on their execution and progress of the work. Communicate with differing audiences both internally and externally. Build a base of cross-functional support among key decision makers and identifies opportunities for collaboration. Propose improvements to systems & processes. May require domestic travel up to 30% of the time, based on business needs. Telecommuting permitted whenever travel is not required – may live anywhere in the U.S.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a related field plus 8 years of engineering experience working in network solutioning and delivery with major global organizations and industry groups.; Employer will also accept two (2) years of additional experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:
- internal and external customer facing role;
- managing customer/partner software integration engagements; and
- working in financial institution liquidity and treasury management.
Of the required experience, must have (3) three years of experience in (6) six of the following (which may be gained concurrently):
- analyzing and troubleshoot technical issues at a network, database, and/or distributed application processing level;
- working with financial services networks;
- network design;
- System design and integration;
- Web Development;
- multi-tier software architecture;
- OOO design experience;
- Python, Java or Json;
- restful apis; and
- websockets.
For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is $187,840 - $188,000 /yr. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position.
