YOUR ROLE
Responsible for the physical cycle counting process and daily reconciliation of inventory to ensure product availability sufficient to meet customers' scheduled deliveries. Analyzes data and provides reports and analyses to management, reports on inventory issues and assists with research and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Perform end of month, end of quarter, cycle and physical counts of inventory.
- Ensure ongoing inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate the timing of file extracts, reconciliation program and adjustments to meet host processing and warehouse operational needs.
- Investigate, resolve and prevent inventory discrepancies by reviewing electronic transaction history.
- Correct back routes/re-routes and shipping errors.
- Manage the damage trailer process
- Create and distribute daily inventory reconciliation reports, inventory adjustment summaries, warehouse productivity reports and warehouse error reports.
- Coordinate and monitor automated stock transfers.
- Provide updates to customer queries related to inventory.
- Manage special projects related to inventory control.
- Provide process direction to analysts, including being the first point of contact.
- Conduct Inventory process and information trainings
- Assist in communicating between operations and inventory team
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Skilled in report development, writing, and skilled in advanced mathematical calculations.
- Ability to identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions.
- PC literate. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills.
- Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and vendors.
- Ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to accomplish work goals.
- Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and complete all projects in a timely manner.
- Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions; develops and sustains productive relationships.
