Job Summary Details:
The Full-time Floor Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining floors through shampooing, extraction, stripping, and waxing, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety in accordance with company procedures.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:00p.m. to 11:00p.m.

Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications: • Customer service experience • One (1) year of floor care experience highly preferred

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain floors in accordance with company standards.
- Perform floor care tasks, including shampooing, extraction, stripping, and waxing floors using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Notify the manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment used for floor care and ensure all tools are in good working condition.
- Move furniture and equipment as necessary to access and clean all areas of the floor.
- Gather and empty trash from floor areas and ensure common spaces are tidy.
- Perform incidental seasonal tasks, such as snow removal or maintenance of outdoor walkways, as needed.
