The Senior Account Manager is an integral part of our Sales team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ - Remote site.
Position Details
A senior account manager will create demand and add value through consultative and technical selling with key influencers and decision-makers in the beef industry. Parties would include feedyard managers and key personnel, independent and/or feed company salespeople and/or nutritionists, and other influencers from current customers or distributors. Achieve budgeted sales and gross margin for Phibro product portfolio, while effectively managing the expense territory budget. The position will be based in the Nebraska territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sales efforts for Phibro product portfolio in Nebraska across beef customers including feedyards, nutritionists, regional distribution/feed mills and targeted vet clinics
- Utilize Phibro resources and training to develop working knowledge of beef and mineral product portfolio by:
- Comprehending the scientific principles behind each product and their application
- Positioning features and benefits to meet customer needs
- Be present at trade shows and industry events to build Phibro brand and grow in professional knowledge, experience, and relationships.
- Provide product support for customers, key influencers, and end users ensuring proper use of Phibro products.
- Must be able to manage all available resources for business growth and retention.
- Provide input to business directors, product director(s), and finance partner for:
- Pricing of products and services to maximize customer value and margin contribution.
- Input on sales support materials needed in the field.
- Report on industry, customer, and competitive trends within assigned area.
- Proactive and consistent use of Phibro’s CRM system.
