General Machinery/Manufacturing Mechanic

FlexStaff is seeking a General Machinery / Manufacturing Mechanic to join our client's promotional products team at our Ronkonkoma, NY location. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment, who enjoys problem-solving and maintaining machinery. The General Machinery / Manufacturing Mechanic will play a key role in ensuring the functionality of our manufacturing processes, contributing to our commitment to quality and efficiency.

 

SALARY: 80,000- 100,000

 

40-hour work week/Monday-Friday 9:00a.m-5:00p.m

🔹 Collaboration & Support: Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

🔹 Detail & Accuracy: Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed to the highest standards, maintaining equipment integrity.

🔹 Efficiency & Problem-Solving: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues swiftly to minimize downtime.

Equipment Maintenance & Repair:

• Diagnose and repair industrial and manufacturing equipment, including printers, conveyors, embroidery, and silk screen machines. 
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures.

Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and implement timely solutions. 
• Collaborate with team members to optimize machinery performance and enhance production capability.

Safety & Organization

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. 
• Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately for future reference.
