What you will be doing:
The Financial Analyst supports the forecasting and budgeting of various business units and corporate functions of the Company by entering and analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, identifying trends, and recommending actions to address opportunities. The Financial Analyst works closely with assigned business areas to gather the necessary information to maintain financial structures, prepare financial statements, provide variance analysis, and enter expense, capital, and headcount forecasts.

Forecast & Budget General
• Analysis and forecasting/budgeting support to the business unit leaders and the leaders within FP&A around business unit expense, capital and headcount
• Interface with HR on cost center personnel assignment issues as needed to support forecasting
• Interface with cost center managers around specific questions pertaining to cost center performance against budget/forecast
• Research specific anomalies in financial and operational data as requested by business unit leaders and/or senior leaders of FP&A
• Perform other ad hoc financial forecasting analysis or strategic finance support duties as required

Years of Applicable Experience - 2 or more yearsEducation:

Experience:
• Comfort/ability to learn and use budget/forecasting software. Preferred time/exposure in managing large data sets. Experience with Business Intelligence tools and/or specifically Adaptive Insights.
• Adaptable and capable of learning how to pull data for analysis from multiple disparate software programs,
• Ability to synthesize ambiguous raw data sets, develop meaningful insight thru analysis of trends, and succinctly communicate findings
