Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software solutions to improve entity recognition, conflation, linking, classification, and relationships within complex datasets, leveraging AI and machine learning techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, identify challenges, and build end-to-end solutions that drive business value.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of key features, ensuring that systems are robust, efficient, and capable of handling large-scale data in real-time.
- Mentor and guide engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative environment to ensure the team’s continued growth and success.
- Continuously optimize and enhance existing systems, identifying opportunities for performance improvements and applying best practices in software engineering and data processing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends in AI, machine learning, and data engineering, bringing new ideas and innovative solutions to the team to keep our technologies at the cutting edge.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with software engineering best practices
- Experience with machine learning and AI techniques, particularly in natural language processing (NLP), entity recognition, or other forms of data classification and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and across different departments.
- Experience in mentoring, providing technical guidance, and driving project success in a senior capacity.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex, ambiguous challenges with innovative solutions.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
