Job Description

Telemundo is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented and strategic Senior Finance Analyst to support the Content Finance team. The role will partner with finance leads, operational leads and controllership to manage essential reporting needs.  

• Conduct monthly accounting closing activities for assigned properties
• Book monthly amortization and production accruals for Unscripted properties
• Monthly reconciliation of Vista subledger vs. SAP ledger
• Build, maintain, and analyze forecasting models
• Conduct production budget analysis
• Identify key drivers impacting financial performance and analyze potential risks & opportunities
• Prepare presentations for senior management highlighting production cost performance against budgets
• Support Finance teams with FP&A planning and closing duties, including cash and P&L pacing, weekly forecast reporting, and variance analyses
• Work on special projects and ad hoc analyses that provide critical insights for senior management
• Review, approve and ensure payments are performed timely according to contractual obligations

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience within Finance/Accounting field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related fields
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experienced in using financial / accounting software and applications (VISTA, Movie Magic, SAP and BPC preferred)

Additional Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to work regular hours
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
