Within Vestas R&amp;D, Offshore Solutions is responsible for defining and delivering the offshore wind turbine product offerings, including our flagship V236-15MW offshore wind turbine. Our offshore project management team, which you will be a key part of, oversees Vestas latest generations of offshore turbines. We win as a team and are confident that diversity and inclusion are the strongest ways to make a difference for renewable energy in the future.</p> <p> </p> <p><b>Responsibilities</b></p> <ul> <li>Oversee program of complex sub-projects that span multiple lines and value chain functions across multiple business units</li> <li>Provide clear leadership, both onsite and remotely, by motivating and guiding team members to achieve project targets </li> <li>Facilitate and ensure program-level scoping and budget accountability to support the realization of the overall program business case</li> <li>Actively facilitate stakeholder engagement by ensuring effective information flow and maintaining clear communication with senior management.</li> <li>Monitor program milestones (A-level) and both internal and external commercial deadlines </li> <li>Actively balancing the risk profile of the program and providing transparency in present risk level</li> <li>Ensure proper delegation of work assignments to project managers assigned to your program </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration or other related fields</li> <li>Documented experience +8 years with Program management or project management of large, complex projects in a global project organization</li> <li>Formal project management training and certification (e.g. IPMA Level B or A, Prince2 Practitioner, Project Management Professional (MPM))</li> <li>Wind energy industry experience is desirable but not a must</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Competencies</b></p> <ul> <li>Motivates empowers and guides others and is an effective listener who draws on the resources and competencies of the entire team</li> <li>Feels comfortable in making the required decisions and setting direction when it matters</li> <li>Good communication skills with the ability to address senior management as well as 1-on-1 dialogues with colleagues</li> <li>Result-focus throughout the project team and a focus on opportunities rather than obstacles</li> <li>Keep sight of our overall targets and commitments maintain focus also when facing challenges and constantly focus on our end goals</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>What we offer</b><br/> We offer an exciting workplace with great professional and personal development opportunities in an inclusive and international work environment with an established wind turbine manufacturer.
