The Basics of a Marketing Coordinator:
- Full-Time, Non-Exempt
- Schedule: Monday - Friday. Flexibility required for after-hours and occasional weekends for events and projects. Potential remote work on Fridays after training is completed.
What you'll do as a Marketing Coordinator:
In this role, you are the storyteller for the credit union! You will tell engaging stories, curate organic content for social media, write clever copy that captures attention, and plan events that attendees will remember. You will also provide support to the marketing team by coordinating projects, keeping the team’s workflow on track, and ensuring our collateral and supplies are available and organized.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Storytelling
- Develop and execute a calendar for organic social media content that includes member/employee testimonials, financial education, goodwill initiatives, and partner stories for dual brands.
- Create and distribute effective stories about the goodwill of the credit union, its rich history, and all of the ways we help our members, communities, and employees across all channels.
- Maintain and distribute the credit union’s placement of news and philanthropy content (news releases, newsletters, webpages, microsites, digital screens, in-branch collateral).
Event Coordination
- Develop plans for corporate and community events, such as check presentations, financial literacy workshops, ribbon cuttings/grand openings, partner opportunities, and more.
- Develop presentations for workshops, orientations, meetings, and seminars.
- Operate camera equipment to take photos and videos at corporate events.
Reputation Management
- Solicit feedback from members and other groups.
- Monitor social media, online forums, digital property listings, review sites, and other social channels to the credit union’s reputation is in good standing.
Reviewing and Proofing:
- Audit content for accuracy on website, emails, and other designated channels.
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate marketing timelines, outlines, and checklists for campaigns, events, and marketing-led projects.
- Coordinate printing of marketing materials with approved vendors.
- Source bids, quotes, and estimates for marketing projects.
Organization:
- Maintain inventories of printed marketing collateral, digital assets
