Technical Delivery Lead

The Real Deal is looking for a Technical Delivery Lead to join our growing digital team. This is not a traditional developer role or a product manager role — it’s a hybrid execution-focused position for someone who knows how to work with code, organize work for others, and ensure that features, fixes, and platform updates go out smoothly.You’ll act as the glue between product, dev, and business teams — owning tasks from spec to QA, and stepping into code when needed to unblock or ship. If you’re the kind of person who sees a half-written ticket and thinks “I’ll clean that up and get it done” — this role is for you.
What You'll DoCoordinate and Organize Dev WorkKeep the backlog clean, scoped, and prioritizedHelp define sprint goals and ensure tasks are realistically sizedWork with the senior developer to plan, assign, and track workTranslate stakeholder requests into clear action itemsOwn QA and Delivery HygieneQA features before launch and coordinate testingLog bugs, verify fixes, and handle regressions quicklyKeep track of what’s released, what’s blocked, and what’s brokenExecute Lightweight Technical WorkJump into frontend/backend/scripting to fix bugs or ship small featuresPrototype internal tools or scrape/transform data for business useReview and support pull requests as neededBe the Connector Between TeamsField incoming requests from sales, editorial, subscriptions, and marketingEnsure everyone knows what’s being worked on and what’s nextMaintain documentation and sprint updates
