Cytiva has an exciting newly created career opportunity for a dynamic and driven sales professional to join our team as a Cell Culture Channel Specialist! In this pivotal role, you will have the unique chance to significantly impact the growth of our sales in media, buffers, and serum within your assigned territory. As a Cell Culture Channel Specialist, you will leverage your exceptional communication and selling skills to demonstrate the superior features and benefits of our cutting-edge cell culture products. With a strong emphasis on building and nurturing relationships, you will engage with key decision-makers, crafting strategic business plans to drive revenue growth with both existing and new customers. This role requires the ability to travel within your territory, allowing you to connect personally with clients and truly understand their needs. This position reports to the USCAN Cell Culture Media Zone Leader and is part of the Americas sales team working remotely to cover West Coast Region. The Specialist must reside in the territory and in close proximity to an airport. The locations where the hire can be based are San Diego, San Francisco or Los Angeles, California.
What you will do:
In-person Product Promotion & Sales: Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and applications to promote and close sales in alignment with territory sales goals. Utilize sales tactics skills to maximize customer revenue.
Channel Support: Serve as the primary support for our Channel network by identifying and pursuing opportunities within targeted accounts, focused on both current and potential new customers.
Strategic Selling: Engage with decision-makers at all levels within assigned accounts. Use Strategic Selling techniques to influence purchasing decisions and secure long-term business relationships.
Business Planning: Assist in the creation and execution of an annual business plan for your assigned territory. Update and refine the plan quarterly to ensure alignment with sales objectives and market conditions. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, proposals, and account updates. Consistently communicate successes, challenges, and best practices to internal teams to share knowledge and drive continuous improvement. Familiarity with a CRM (SFDC) will be beneficial.
Customer Proposals & Pricing: Develop tailored proposals for pricing agreements, contracts, and preferred vendor agreements. Work closely with our Channel Partners to prepare and present high-impact customer agreements. Host and support product demonstrations and shows at customer sites or locally to enhance product visibility and build relationships. Coordinate technical seminars with internal teams, including Research & Development, Marketing, and Technical Sales.
Who you are:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Sales or Scientific degree preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Sales Skills: Strong understanding of sales processes, including lead generation, relationship management, and closing techniques.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cell culture, laboratory environments, or research is a plus,
