Fire Alarm / Low Voltage Pre-Construction Estimator

This full-time position within our Sales Team is located at our Fort Worth headquarters providing preconstruction design and estimation for new construction and renovation projects. Independent judgment and a high “figure-it-out” factor is necessary. This individual must have a strong estimating or project management background with at least a minimum of 5 years of experience designing, installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and/or performing quality assurance inspections for life safety and/or communication systems.

• Emergency communication systems
• Fire alarm systems
• Access control systems
• Video surveillance systems
• Intrusion detection systems
• Master clock systems
• Nurse call systems
• Public address systems

Prefer One or More of the Following Certifications or Licenses

• Fire Alarm License (FAL)
• Fire Alarm Planning Superintendent License (APS)
• NICET Certification(s)
• Texas Online Private Security (TOPS) License
• BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification
• AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D Certification(s)

Applicable Technical Skills

• 5-years’ experience of AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu (or equivalent) experience
• Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets
