Location Details:
At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-events or offsites. Your hiring manager can share more about this role’s hybrid or remote time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This position may be a hybrid or fully remote position, as decided by your manager. If designated as hybrid, you’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office location, so you should live within commuting distance. If designated as remote, you’ll be working remotely from your home and may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings. Your hiring manager can share more about this role’s hybrid or remote designation.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.
What you'll get to do...
- Lead a team of high-level analysts that own all aspects of the monthly forecasting process including accurate 18-month rolling multi-channel demand forecasts (phone, messaging, etc.) for multiple products and services, across multiple geographies in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific that allows operations to staff the accurate number of guides at the accurate times to ensure coverage of customer demand
- Be responsible for the process of projection of operational performance including forecast variance projections, service level projections, and operational performance projections while ensuring model and algorithm accuracy based on actuals
- Lead statistical modeling to project possible impacts of business and product changes, guide and customer workflow and process changes, routing changes, and marketing campaigns
- Lead the creation of models and ad-hoc queries to support business analysis to diagnose business performance and identify root cause
- Prepare and present quarterly reforecasts (contact volume, headcount, projected expense variances tied to front-line headcount) in a way that is easily digestible by audiences of varying levels, including senior leaders and key partners, and drives alignment on plans
- Partner with Channel Management, Marketing, Care & Services Operations teams, Business Analytics, and Finance to drive the process of developing customer contact demand forecasts to meet business goals, customer needs, and financial commitments
- Apply key business and operational metrics and leading indicators to understand how the business is performing for GoDaddy customers and against business goals and identify priorities to improve operational performance
Your experience should include...
- 10+ years of experience with demand forecasting, capacity planning, or financial modeling
- 5+ years leading and developing senior-level analysts
- Adept at articulating strategy, understanding the effects of strategic changes, and driving change; strong technical & intuition for business
- Basic knowledge of ARMA/ARIMA/SARIMA, decomposition, linear regression, exponential smoothing, or related statistical models
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including sophisticated statistical and worksheet functions), business intelligence applications such as Tableau, and databases
- Ability to develop statistical models, build scenarios, and forecast with a high level of accuracy
You might also have...
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Predictive Analytics, Statistics and Probability, or similar field preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in R or similar language
- Proficiency in crafting and building interactive dashboards and other reporting in Tableau, including sophisticated data visualization, preferred
