Come join our team in the role of Business Product Owner – Employee Experience. This role will play a critical role in driving the success of our customer relationship management (CRM) system for NA Pioneer and ensuring it meets the needs of our commercial business operations. They will be responsible for ensuring the CRM system being built to be utilized by our largest revenue generating business will serve our customers’ needs. They will make sure the system is built to high standards with solid governance practices. The BPO serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and the Information Technology teams. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams that are aligned with overall business strategy. Their focus will be on gathering & understanding business needs as they align to strategic business goals.
Overall, the Business Product Owner – Employee Experience person plays a crucial role in leveraging technology to drive successful implementation of a CRM system that will support our internal employees, improve work efficiencies and achieve business objectives. A combination of technical expertise, sales & marketing knowledge, and product development skills will be needed to excel in this
role.
What You'll Do:
- Establish a solid understanding of existing business processes, applications and infrastructure to apply best practices to achieve the strategy & priorities
- Define and prioritize CRM features and enhancements based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility. This ensures alignment to strategy and budget alignment for cost management.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to establish confidence, trust, and credibility
- Work closely with the delivery team to deliver short and long-term solutions roadmap. Removing roadblocks as needed
- Accountable for partnering with IT to break Epics down to Features
- Partner with UXD to create Functional Design for Features that align to the product delivery Roadmap
- Assist leading the Employee Experience Strategy team that will solve for capabilities associated with applications by persona end to end
- Define requirements for user stories & approve them for implementation and completion
- Participate in quarterly planning and give teams direction on scope & priorities
- Attend team ceremonies: backlog grooming, standups, Sprint Planning, demos and reviews
- Provide input into change management, communications and training for product launches.
- Understand system touch points and data integration for NA direct Commercial businesses.
- Ensure systems comply with company requirements and support government regulations and industry standards
What You'll Need:
- Located in Johnston, Iowa preferred, may consider Indianapolis, IN based candidates
- Knowledge and experience with Corteva’s business processes, products, and routes to markets
- 5+ years of experience in software product development, administration, business reporting, Agile IT project development, or similar
- Understanding of marketing and sales fundamentals and related business metrics
- Self-starter that is motivated by results and stakeholder satisfaction
- Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, business management, or Ag Business
