Job Description
We are seeking a well-rounded client-facing Global Technical Lead with experience working with leading technology platforms and lending expertise to a diverse team of technologists, capability partners and clients. This role will serve as a balanced leader focused on strategy, technical experience and a vision for the future. As a part of the Pfizer Global Production leadership team, the Global Tech Lead should be confident with other senior agency executives, clients, vendors, and partners. The Global Tech Lead is expected to be clear in developing and communicating our agency point of view and recommendations and solutions, enabling us to build best-in-class capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a partner with other agency executives, discipline leads, capability leads, and partner organizations
- Will act as an expert technical knowledge resource across PXP Global Production working on the Pfizer business.
- Proactively and aggressively identify and nurture new business opportunities aligned with agency objectives to drive incremental revenue and grow portfolio of digital work
- Serve as a subject matter expert and technical escalation resource for Pfizer Global Production
- Works with senior Technology and Agency leadership to drive organic and net new business growth of technology work.
- Ensure effective partnership with client, vendor, and partner technology leadership and teams to ensure deliverables are correct and implemented to the highest standards viable.
- Collaborated with a senior level Technology staff who in turn are responsible for full-stack devOps, engineering, and quality assurance teams across simultaneous engagements.
- Provide and informed and defensible perspective on technology and platform capabilities, risks, trade-offs, and future evolutions for designing and delivering client tactics.
- Contribute to the standardization of technologies, processes, and tooling and evolution of technical, engineering, quality, and process best practices across the global production studios
- Support and assist client leadership teams in identifying impactful opportunities for clients that will engage studio capabilities
- Partner with creative leadership and project management to ensure creative ideas are technically feasible, strategic and tactically aligned with client needs and goals.
- Mentors and guides senior staff to ensure proper evaluation and scoping of deliverables
- Possesses and seek to grow an in-depth understanding of the client’s business and their overall, marketing, care, and business objectives.
- Works as a visible presence and trusted advisor to internal leads and external clients.
- Builds partnership across all disciplines and client teams, applying expertise appropriately.
- Keeps current with emerging technologies and evolving best practices.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or relevant work experience.
- 10+ years of professional experience in defining/driving technology strategy and solutions
- Must have the ability to define and drive strategy based on the agency’s vision & desired business outcomes, develop solutions in partnerships with company leaders and subject matter experts and influence executive teams on a proposed technology strategy.
- USA-based pharmaceutical, healthcare experience plus marketing & advertising experience, or related marketing experiences is required
- Comfortable with group interactions and presentations, including agency partners, vendors, and clients
- Recent and demonstrable experience with modern DXP platforms, with a specific focus on Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related technologies, and Sitecore DEP. Familiarity with platforms such as Drupal/Acquia and Wordpress VIP preferred.
- Recent demonstrable experience working with data management, data stewardship, and data protection platforms, including encryption methods, environment hardening, client authentication, and general data and system integrity mechanisms
- Experience with pharma industry platforms such as Veeva (commercial cloud, data cloud), IQVIA, and/or Symphony are required
- Experience leading multi-location and multi-vendor engagements as well as offshore and near-shore teams is required
- Familiarity with scaled cloud platforms, tooling, billing, and offerings is preferred, including AWS, Azure, and GCP
