Job Description

Crown is hiring a Material Management Worker to perform a variety of routine assignments that include receiving and accounting for materials from vendors within our warehouse. The Material Management position requires the use of an Inventory Control System to account for materials received.  Parts are then issued by part numbers to rack fabrication personnel.  The ideal candidate will have knowledge of storage methods and procedures, warehousing practices and techniques and stock identification methods.

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Material Management Worker to join our team and play a key role in our floating crew. This is 100 % travel position, requiring assignment to various geographical locations within the United States, often aligning with FAA regional boundaries.

The role goes beyond traditional electronics work and requires a craftsman who can manage all aspects of installing a complete facility. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong understanding of systems, the ability to perform a wide range of physical installation tasks, and the potential to lead management projects.

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's Degree preferred)
  • Good physical condition with ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs for short distances
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and travel as needed
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
