Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

  • Develop project solution schedules in proposal phase, comparing to like projects, and best in class / best case scenario to optimize and produce the most cost effective and efficient timeline to execute the project.  Find opportunities to improve schedule / reduce cost to maintain competitive position.
  • Utilize Project Planning and Coordination meeting to establish project control area breakdown with project team input and utilize the output of the Planning and Coordination process to create optimized accurate draft version of the Project Execution Schedule.
  • Support maintenance of Project Execution Schedules through weekly updates based on the input of the functional leads.  Incorporate all change orders into the current project schedule.  Be the gate keeper of re-baselining of project schedules to be able to identify root cause of scheduling challenges so that schedule variance can be measured accurately.
  • Evaluate project schedules for risk identification (what-if scenario planning).  Support identification of Critical Path Items & ways to streamline schedule.
  • Communicate schedule changes to project execution team including Project Controlling to determine impacts to timeline and realization of sales and cash flow.
  • Proactively ensure that in-flight projects are meeting schedule targets, and work with applicable functions to resolve schedule conflicts as they arise.
  • Maintain a schedule master so that forecast assumptions are accurately documented (COGS, Cash Flow, Revenue).
  • Maintain (in conjunction with EMEA) standardized scheduling templates.
  • Maintain standardized work efforts required to determine functional task durations.
  • 20% travel may be required.

What We are Looking For:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree.
  • Preferred to possess PMP certification or obtain within 12 months of hire.
  • Demonstrates and applies broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for managed work group(s) and how it supports related operations.
  • Demonstrates understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.
  • Experience in Project Scheduling, Project Management and Project Execution, particularly in the MHE industry is ideal.  Expert in MS Project.
