Job Description

 

To ensure that all items received meet the approved criteria established by the hotel and conducts a thorough, but prompt, inspection of every delivery to ascertain proper specification factors to determine acceptability. ($27.50/hour)

 

Responsibilities

 

• Logs all packages of receipt in software on server.
• Receives Saturday packages/courier deliveries
• Inspect and unpack all merchandise received, and stocks/stores it.
• Strictly adheres to the operating hours of the storerooms.
• Delivers all packages to Sales, Catering, Accounting, Front Office, Housekeeping and Executive Offices.
• Responsible for properly receiving, storing and issuing packages and general storeroom goods under the guidance of the Purchasing Manager.

 

Qualifications

 

• Ability to operate hand truck, lift-jack and dolly.
• Must be flexible and able to work am and pm shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to handle repeated lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 70 pounds.
• Should have basic computer operation understanding.
