Intern - Firmware/Software Engineering

About our group:

 

The Firmware team is looking for a motivated and curious individual to work on development and debug of customer firmware and/or software tools. The work involves troubleshooting existing defects, implementing features, or refactoring tasks. In this role, you will be working alongside senior members of the team for the assigned tasks. 

About the role - you will:

 

• Troubleshoot defects
• Implement features
• Program using C and Python

About you:

 

• Structured C and Python programming skills. 
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and a self-motivated worker with a desire to learn. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Must be able to work and communicate effectively with a diverse group of engineers. 
• Familiarity with Embedded Systems, Operating Systems, and Microcontrollers. 
• Familiarity with Agile / SCRUM methodologies. 
• An undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering and enrolled in Fall 2024 classes.

Your experience includes:

 

• Familiarity with Embedded Systems, Operating Systems, and Microcontrollers. 
• Familiarity with Agile / SCRUM methodologies. 
• An undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering and enrolled in Fall 2024 classes.
