Job Description 

As Rhombus’ Head of Model Operations Support, you will help drive the expansion and refinement of a critical products that utilizes open source data. You will work as part of a collaborative team to validate data and perform QA/QC at a pace that meets our client deliverable deadlines and quality requirements.  

Core Responsibilities: 

• Act as the lead interface, coordinator, and doer between our data and intelligence teams 
• Help us evolve existing data labeling processes and manage those and existing processes end-to-end 
• Develop scalable processes for labeling and validation consistent with our intelligence methodologies 
• Support product & data QA to ensure validated data sets are meeting our client's needs and requirements 
• Collaborate on the development of intelligence methodologies related to open source and other data sources 
• Create and implement frameworks to expand and/or deepen our data sources to support the development of AI/ML models 

 

What we’re looking for: 

• Someone who is excited about owning the strategy and roadmap for data labeling and AI model maintenance. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in data ingestion; data preparation; data labeling; model development, training, tuning, and validation; model deployment, serving, and monitoring. 
• We’re looking for candidates with proven analytical skills, are excited to solve problems, and have excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.  Including but not limited to positive attitude, a learning mentality, creative, and solution oriented.    

What we require: 

• BA/BS in International Affairs, Political Science, Public Policy, Data Engineering / Science, Computer Science is highly desired. 
• Prior experience with AI/ML development workflows and frameworks, notebooks, labeling tools, and cloud computing. 
• Experience leading cross-organization efforts with stakeholders from many different functions. 
• Hands-on experience developing, validating, and launching AI/ML-based products as a data scientist, engineer, intelligence analyst, or similar.  
• Experience managing and leading a team is a bonus.
