Cambria County Children & Youth Services (CYS) is looking for an outgoing individual to serve as the lead fiscal staff in the agency. As a Fiscal Officer 2, you will help manage budgets, oversee reporting, and support financial decision making. This role offers the chance to lead fiscal operations that strengthen the agency’s mission. You will work closely with staff, administrators, and state partners to maintain compliance and support funding needs. Examples of duties
This role focuses on supervising fiscal staff, preparing budgets, and maintaining compliance with state and federal funding requirements. You will lead financial reporting and ensure accurate documentation that supports agency programs and operations. As a County Fiscal Officer 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Staff Supervision: Train fiscal staff and monitor daily tasks and assigned projects
- Budget Preparation: Prepare state and county budgets by reviewing expenditures and projecting program costs
- Financial Reporting: Oversee completion of state and federal expenditure reports and ensure compliance with regulations
- Audit Coordination: Assist with audit preparation and participate in required reviews
- Revenue Management: Administer mandated reports for federal and state reimbursements including multiple funding streams
- Eligibility Review: Oversee review of applications to determine medical coverage and Title IV-E eligibility for children entering placement
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or
- Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
- Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.
