What You'll Do
The Manager, Commercial Administration will lead our business’s commercial execution excellence, ensuring our organizational effectiveness and efficiency in executing our customer and contractual agreements, setting up our business operations for success in delivering value to our customers and shareholders.
This individual will lead a team of pricing analysts and commercial administrators. This position will require the individual to establish and maintain tangible, world-class team culture and strong set of processes and standard work that focuses on fostering positive relationships with internal and external customers.
This leader is also accountable to maintain the integrity of the company by ensuring all customer requests, both internal and external, are met and treated with integrity, the highest level of quality, and delivery, while maintaining both the customer’s and the company’s best interests and financial goals.
Financial and Commercial Accountability
- Estimating and Invoicing: Lead and streamline the customer pricing process for engine shop visits, starting from engine induction to completion of the work, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and precision in the execution of our customer contracts.
- Customer Requirements Management: Work closely with the Account Leadership Team, Program Managers, Engineering, and any other functional groups in ensuring that all customer, contractual, technical and commercial obligations are quantified, well-defined and communicated to the entire value stream.
- Cash management: Manages Trade Working Capital (TWC) by the continual reduction of shipped-not-invoiced and aged work-in-progress measures of performance.
- Resource Planning: Capacity plan and ensure match of resources and skills to business requirements to deliver on expectations
- Budgeting: Monitor departmental budget and escalate any budgetary problems or concerns
Technical & Business Acumen
- Commercial and Contract Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in managing commercial contracts from initial execution, throughout its lifecycle
- Analytical and Pricing Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead a team to quote and analyze pricing for work performed, including analyzing trends and historical data to uncover opportunities for improvement or solve potential risks and issues.
- Program management: Ability to programmatically manage centralized tasks and responsibilities that support a wide range of contracts that crosses multiple products and customers
- Priority Management: Demonstrated time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, including using systems or software to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives
- Systems: Ability to learn and adopt to use and implement new software and technology, examples include:
- Proficiency in using ERP and CRM systems,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Power BI, queries, etc.
- Tech Data: Working knowledge of aerospace publications, tech data and regulations an asset

- Setup and enable individuals to advance to roles within and beyond the customer programs team, promoting strong succession planning and retention
