Medical Assistant, CNA, or LPN - University Heart Surgeons

University Heart Surgeons is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our cardiothoracic surgery team. The ideal candidate will be eager to work with a team of caring professionals to provide the best care possible. You must be able to work with a team as well as be efficient and thorough when working independently. We expect a compassionate and understanding attitude. Our patients are coming to see us during some of the most difficult times in their lives and we are here to make their experience as comfortable as possible.

Role Objectives

• Enhance the quality of care and service for patients and visitors by creating a safe and secure environment
• Maintain an office that is efficient and productive. Enhance patient flow to best assist providers.
• Provide a caring and compassionate atmosphere for patients and families.
• Accurately update electronic medical records.
• Address patient questions and concerns promptly and accurately.

Responsibilities.

• Maintain clean and well stocked treatment rooms.
• Obtain patient vitals and update changes to medical history in electronic medical record.
• Ensure appropriate medical records and test results are available for each clinic day.
• Answer/return patient calls and triage calls to providers as needed
