Mystery Shopper - Retail (Independent Contract) - Springfield, MO

As the Retail Mystery Shopper (Independent Contractor) – Springfield, MO, you will play a crucial role in the mission of NSF – to protect and improve human and planet health. As a mystery shopper, you will have the opportunity to travel around the Wichita territory to specific restaurants to assess their quality based on a predefined criteria. 

Principle Accountabilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Verify portion sizes, ingredients, and presentation of the order to ensure consistency with brand standards
• Manages own work plans for the completion of work during designated breakfast time hours
• Summarize audit findings

Qualifications 

• Proficient with using a scale [food scale], ruler, and written communication
• Willingness to travel to designated restaurants in the Wichita area multiple times; typically 1 per week
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 
• Must be able to perform restaurant visits during breakfast hours (6:30am-10:30am)
• Must be able to visit restaurants on weekday and weekend day hours
• Must live within 30 miles of Springfield, MO 
• Must be willing to open a sole proprietorship 

 

Pay Rate: $25 per restaurant visit plus reimbursement for food cost
