Maintenance Manager

SUMMARY
The maintenance manager is responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of RS EDEN’s facilities. The manager must understand and manage funder and inspection requirements and ensure RS EDEN facilities are operating at a high standard to meet the needs of staff, partners, and program participants and residents.
Salary ranges from $61,000-$65,000 per year
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and physical assets.
- Work as a facility manager auditing maintenance work to ensure quality and safety standards are adhered to.
- Make certain that procedures are observed, and all maintenance work is completed in a timely manner.
- Lead, train and coach the maintenance staff and assess their performance to improve systems and quality.
- Ability to Co-Lead team projects and assign techs as appropriate.
- Complete Work orders and Turnovers as directed by Facilities Director and support maintenance techs in timely completion of requests.
- Ability to complete day to day tasks with the ability to pivot and address when an emergency arises.
- Track expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
- Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.
- Ensure operational efficiency of facility systems.
- Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean condition.
- Implement workplace safety policies and standards.
- Ability and willingness to be on call on a rotation to respond to emergency maintenance calls.
- Assists and Supports Facilities Director in achieving goals of the department.
- Implement effective preventative maintenance schedules, emergency response procedures, and routine maintenance procedures!
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Ability to use technology required for the position, email, Basic Microsoft applications such as Word, Appfolio work order database, etc.
• Boiler’s License
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance.
• Previous managerial experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Possess sound personal judgment and strong time management skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to convey a positive and professional image.
• Must be able to pass favorable criminal history/background check.
• Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds with multiple barriers.
• Positive driving record (periodic review of driving record required).
• Valid state driver’s license.
