Key Responsibilities

The Contractor will be actively engaged during the programs full life cycle in identifying unique system characteristics in SOF/PR and Rotary aircraft modifications. The Contractor will interface with contractor software/cyber security subject matter experts. The Contractor will consult with the integrated process team to create, identify, and review requisite documentation. This includes but it not limited to system Information Technology (IT) Determination/Categorizations and Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM), risk assessments, contingency plans, security test and evaluation reports, vulnerability assessment reports, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and deliverables; assisting in mapping complex software/cyber security technical requirements, functionality, and capabilities to prescribed security controls, policies, and practices.

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations

  • OR, bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
    OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

Contractor will have relevant experience with a weapon system; DoD weapon systems are preferred, in modernization/sustainment phase and in the preparation and review of cyber documentation packages. The Contractor will have experience with vulnerability assessment procedures, tools and techniques, which identify system vulnerabilities, Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) guidance and policy regarding program sensitive items and identifying security management requirements during specific phases of the program acquisition life cycle. Experience creating, identifying, and reviewing requisite documentation, which includes but is it not limited to system Information Technology (IT) Determination/Categorizations and Security Controls Traceability Matrix (SCTM), risk assessments, contingency plans, security test and evaluation reports, vulnerability assessment reports, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and deliverables; assisting in mapping complex software/cyber security technical requirements, functionality, and capabilities to prescribed security controls, policies, and practices. Experience creating, identifying and reviewing Assessment and Authorization documentation required for compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) or other applicable Assessment and Authorization policies. These items include but are not limited to the Architectural Analysis Report (AAR), the Security Assessment Report (SAR), the Risk Analysis Report (RAR), the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) and the Continuous Monitoring Strategy. Experience providing support to Platform Information Technology (PIT) Assessment and Authorization for SOF/PR programs during the acquisition life cycle. This support includes creating/developing, modifying, reviewing, or coordinating Platform Information Technology (PIT) determination packages, Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation, Cybersecurity Strategy (CS), Security Plan (SP), System Security Plan (SSP), Security Concept of Operations (CONOPS), artifacts for program reviews and Request for Proposals (RFPs).

Security Clearance:

Ability to obtain and hold a TS/SCI security clearance.
