Job Description:
We are thrilled to present an outstanding chance for a Band II Filling Operator to become a part of our top-tier team in Carlsbad. Your role will involve operating and maintaining filling and packaging equipment, guaranteeing high quality control, and strictly following regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Run filling and packaging machinery, encompassing manual and automated filling devices, scales, labeling machines, band sealers, pumps, and filtration systems. Address basic troubleshooting requirements when necessary.
- Weigh, measure, and check raw materials using a computer interface to ensure batches contain accurate materials and quantities.
- Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Perform sampling and testing during production to verify that batches meet required standards.
- Adhere to all safety practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Complete and maintain quality records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and SOPs.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in accurate operating condition and cleanliness.
- Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Preferred laboratory experience.
- Ability to pipette is a plus.
- Able to work in cold environments for at least 2 hrs (+4 environment).
- Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail and a dedication to quality.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 to 50 pounds.
- Work in a manufacturing environment adhering to safety protocols.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $16.78–$25.17.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
