Job Description:

We are thrilled to present an outstanding chance for a Band II Filling Operator to become a part of our top-tier team in Carlsbad. Your role will involve operating and maintaining filling and packaging equipment, guaranteeing high quality control, and strictly following regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions:

• Run filling and packaging machinery, encompassing manual and automated filling devices, scales, labeling machines, band sealers, pumps, and filtration systems. Address basic troubleshooting requirements when necessary.
• Weigh, measure, and check raw materials using a computer interface to ensure batches contain accurate materials and quantities.
• Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Perform sampling and testing during production to verify that batches meet required standards.
• Adhere to all safety practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Complete and maintain quality records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and SOPs.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in accurate operating condition and cleanliness.
• Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Preferred laboratory experience.
• Ability to pipette is a plus.
• Able to work in cold environments for at least 2 hrs (+4 environment).
• Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and a dedication to quality.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 to 50 pounds.
• Work in a manufacturing environment adhering to safety protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $16.78–$25.17.
