Caregiver – Part-Time (Weekdays & Every Other Weekend)

Location: Milwaukee, WI 53222
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, and every other Saturday from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Job Type: Part-time

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client in Milwaukee. This position focuses on personal care, companionship, and assisting with daily living activities while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

•  Assist with bathing and showering 
•  Provide companionship and emotional support 
•  Assist with dressing and personal grooming 
•  Prepare meals 
•  Perform light housekeeping and laundry 
•  Provide medication reminders and assistance 
•  Assist with care coordination and scheduling appointments with physicians and labs 
•  Help maintain a safe home environment 
•  Accompany client to appointments as needed 

Qualifications:

•  Previous caregiving experience preferred 
•  Experience working with clients with dementia is required 
•  Care coordination experience is preferred 
•  Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks 
•  Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 
•  Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented 
•  Strong communication and organizational skills
