About UC Clermont College

UC Clermont College is located in the center of Clermont County on 91 beautiful wooded acres in Batavia Township. Opened in 1972, Clermont College is an accredited, open-access college offering a variety of certificates, transfer programs, two-year technical degrees and one baccalaureate degree.

Job Overview

UC Clermont College is seeking applications from Physical Therapy Instructors. Applications are being accepted on a continuous basis to be included in the general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty are selected to teach face-to-face classes on an as-needed basis. Instructors may provide classroom, lab, and/or clinical instruction of Physical Therapist Assistant courses.

Essential Functions

  • On a part-time basis, conduct and teach assigned undergraduate courses.
  • Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities.
  • Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.

Minimum Requirements

  • PT or PTA, licensed in State of Ohio (Kentucky and Indiana on a 1 year basis)
  • Previous clinical or teaching experience,
  • Minimum Qualifications Two (2) years of experience working as a PT or PTA.
  • Understanding of education methodology
  • Lab skills performance and learning outcomes assessment abilities
  • Demonstrates contemporary expertise in assigned teaching areas
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and student evaluation.

Additional Qualifications Considered

Preferred Three (3) years of experience working as a PT or PTA.
