Join our dynamic team as Communications Manager within the fast-growing Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) segment of GE HealthCare in the USCAN region, where you'll play a key role in driving brand reputation, awareness, engagement, and business outcomes internally and externally. This position will support strategic communications plans and execute on deliverables for business growth and organizational change in a highly regulated healthcare environment.Reporting to the Communications Director in USCAN, this role will work closely with the PDx global communications team and support the delivery of communications campaigns that both promote and protect PDx’s US and global reputation and support regional business priorities that ladder up to the company’s larger strategy.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and delivery of communications plans and campaigns in USCAN and globally that align with business priorities.
Assist in coordinating and collaborating with the PDx USCAN team and Global Function teams, including Marketing/Marketing Communications, Legal, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Finance, HR, R&D, Product, and Sales teams.
Break down complex topics into easily digestible, compelling communications for external and internal audiences, and help develop thought leadership pieces, press releases, videos, intranet stories, infographics, social media posts, media pitches, and customer messaging, etc.
Research and prepare executive briefings.
Draft and oversee communications plans and timelines.
Monitor the news for media coverage relevant to our businesses.
Assist with video and audio scripting, filming, editing and distribution.
Support in-person or virtual events, working with communications tools and platforms that help deliver a compelling and seamless audience experience (some travel required for in-person events).
Develop slide presentations/other content for internal and external use.
Manage distribution lists and develop digital communications templates.
Maintain consolidated communications calendar, aligning with Marketing and key internal stakeholders.
Establish key performance indicators for campaigns, gathering metrics and evaluating to inform ongoing improvement in communications.
Provide support for spokesperson activities, such as message development and media training.
Assist in the implementation of USCAN internal communications plans, messaging, events, broadcasts, and assets to engage and inform employees.
Help demonstrate communications results and plans to key stakeholders.
Partner and collaborate with wider GE HealthCare Communications and other teams.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Marketing or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of professional communications experience across organizational communications and PR—preferably in healthcare or biosciences.
Experience supporting the development and execution of high-impact communications plans.
Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
Experience with video editing software.
Excellent written communication, presentation, and planning skills.
Able to deliver key messages and influence effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to plan, implement and execute on plans to timeline.
Proficient in English communication (both oral and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability and willingness to work in CT or EST time zones.
Experience with media monitoring software such as Cision, Meltwater, Muckrack, etc.
Knowledge of B2B healthcare industry and AI a strong plus including knowledge of working/marketing in a regulated environment.
