Anesthesia Technicians are responsible for the following:
Cleans, prepares, and sterilizes (using STERIS system) anesthesia equipment.
Maintains stock of medications in designated areas.
Provides assistance to the nurse coordinator and other technicians as needed.
Anesthesia Technicians are responsible for maintaining each OR site with appropriate gas machines, monitors, drugs, and supplies while also assisting anesthesia personnel as needed to provide efficient and safe patient care. Qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma required
ASATT certification or equivalent experience is preferred
Excellent computer and mathematical abilities
