PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Under the direction of the Supervisor RADE, the Data Entry Specialist (Specialist) is responsible for the reconciliation of all documents received and verification of critical information from data entry tasks are accurate and efficient. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance, accuracy, and procedure assignments are completed at the end of every shift.

The Specialist is responsible for achieving maximum efficiency of success for Carter BloodCare (CBC) and knowing the importance of providing a positive and professional collaboration with internal and external customers to meet the community's needs. The RADE Department is connected to other external processes and is responsible for ensuring there is no disruption from the entry of all documents in a timely manner, with limited exceptions.

Regular, full-time attendance is required during normal working hours.

Shift:  Sunday - Thursday 11:00 am - 19:30 pm

Qualifications


EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry or highly administrative roles, preferred

  • Blood banking industry knowledge, preferred

  • Excellent understanding of data entry processes, accuracy, and quality control measures

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Must be detail-oriented and possess exceptional organizational skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of CBC staff

  • Ability to input a large volume of data into the system accurately, with meticulous attention to detail, and in a timely manner
