ABOUT THIS POSITION
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) in Alpharetta, GA
The Staff Accountant will: •Support accounting for the Americas region business processes, including but not limited to journal entries, inventory transactions, amortization schedules, timekeeping, and intercompany transactions.•Prepare account reconciliations and support month end management reporting.•Keep strong internal controls and Sarbanes Oxley compliance over key areas of responsibility. •Ensure accurate and timely business transaction recording in the ERP system.•Maintain general ledger and related general accounting processes.•Develop and participate in process improvement projects.

What does the ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
- Minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, business administration, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting processes.
- Experience with monthly closing process.
- Working knowledge of inventory transactions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with tight timelines in a fast paced environment while maintaining accurate and complete results.
- Self motivated with critical thinking skills that can implement a vision by working with cross functional business partners.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels
- Advanced knowledge and skill with Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with SAP
