Job Summary
The Senior Manager is responsible for the daily store operations. This role requires a strong leader who will be hands-on with the day-to-day operations, but also helps to drive the overall company strategy. You’ll need to build and maintain relationships with managers, hourly employees, carrier partners, vendors, and various departments in the company. Most importantly, you’ll need to provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
- Manage and oversee daily operations of both auction production and the Auction Pick Up Center, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with the company’s goals.
- Implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance customer service and productivity.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to optimize processes.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and provide leadership to operational staff, ensuring clear communication of company goals and expectations.
- Motivate, lead, and maintain a high performing team to achieve goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing coaching and mentoring as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Quality Control:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address any issues.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with best practices to drive continuous improvement in operations.
- Promote and implement innovative ideas to enhance operational processes and company performance.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail management or warehouse management role.
- Strong understanding of P&L
- Excellent customer service
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in performance management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Experience:
- Customer service: 3 years (Required)
- Management: 3 years (Required)
Work Environment:
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment – non-temperature controlled environment, lifting items/boxes overhead, standing for extended periods of time, squatting, ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
