(Senior) Risk Manager

<h3>Your mission</h3> <p>As an Risk Manager at Finoa, you will work within the Risk Controlling Team. <br/>You are going to support our team with the implementation as well as the improvement of the company's risk framework. You will be a valued advisor to our international team on numerous topics with regards to management of non-financial risks.<br/><em><br/>Please note: While this position can be performed remotely, we will only be screening applicants who are resident in either Portugal or Germany.</em></p> <h3>In this role, you will:</h3> <ul><li><p>Assist our risk team in the management of non-financial risks with a focus on information security and information technology.</p></li><li><p>Contributing to implementation of DORA Requirements in the operational risk management. </p></li><li><p>Supporting various teams during regular risk assessments on various projects that are mainly focused on (blockchain) technology. </p></li><li><p>Support Risk Team for executing the risk inventory, </p></li><li><p>Maintaining the loss event database, and analysing loss events including IT related incidents.</p></li><li><p>Monitoring and communication of risks, and risk reporting.</p></li><li><p>Conduct regular reviews and updates of the non-financial risk management policies, procedures, and manuals in line with the relevant regulations.</p></li><li><p>Support the risk team with ICAAP calculations including stress testing and scenario analysis. </p></li><li><p>Contribute to audits and quarterly reports.</p></li></ul> <h3>What you need to be successful:</h3> <ul><li><p>At least a bachelor degree in one of the following areas: mathematics, physics, computer science, finance or economics. </p></li><li><p>An excellent level of knowledge and several years of experience of the risk management related processes especially in risk analysis, risk assessment, risk reporting, with a focus on information technology and information security. </p></li><li><p>Advanced Knowledge of the risk management and risk governance relevant regulations, such as MaRisk, CRR, DORA, as well as related EBA Guidelines. </p></li><li><p>Keen interest and experience in the optimization and digitalization of the risk management processes. </p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and conceptual skills, and critical thinking.</p></li><li><p>A good understanding of Web3 and Blockchain technologies is a major advantage.</p></li><li><p>Experience and a very good level of knowledge in the areas of ICAAP is a plus.  </p></li><li><p>Very good communication skills and willingness to enforce a sound risk culture through employee trainings. </p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.</p></li><li><p>Fluency in English, German is a plus.</p></li></ul> <h3>What’s in it for you:</h3> <ul><li>Accelerate your career growth by joining one of Europe's leading cryptocurrency management platforms</li><li>25 vacation days per year, with an additional day for each year of service - up to 30 days</li><li>Access to cutting-edge technologies, high levels of autonomy, and international working environment</li><li>Flexible working hours, hybrid work setup from both our Berlin and Porto offices</li><li>Fitness (Urban Sports Club) and mental health (nilo) memberships</li><li>Hot/cold drinks and snacks in the office, and All Hands meetings once a month with pizza</li></ul>
