Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fitness program, ensuring high standards of service and facility maintenance. Manages staff, develops programs, and ensures that the program meets its operational and financial goals.Does this position require Patient Care? No
Essential Function
-Supervises fitness club staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
-Ensures the fitness club is clean, safe, and well-maintained in compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Develops and implements fitness programs and activities to meet the needs and interests of club members.
-Monitors and manages the fitness club’s budget, including expenses and revenue, to achieve financial targets.
-Reviews and analyzes member feedback to continuously improve services and address any issues.
-Promotes and markets the fitness club’s programs and services to attract and retain members.
-Handles member inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
-Coordinates with other departments to ensure seamless operation and integration of services.
-Generates and reviews reports on club performance and operational metrics to drive improvements.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree Sports Fitness required or Bachelor's Degree Cardiopulmonary & Exercise Science required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials
Experience
Experience in health, wellness or fitness programs, preferably in a healthcare setting. 3-5 years required and Supervisory or leadership experience. 2-3 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of fitness program development and health & safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial performance.
- Proficiency in fitness equipment and facility management.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
