Summary: As the Leader of Digital Project Delivery, you will be a key operational leader responsible for building and guiding a team of project managers to ensure the successful execution of Belden’s portfolio of digital projects. You will be accountable for the entire project lifecycle, from intake and planning to delivery and closure, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting to the VP of Digital, you will establish a center of excellence for digital project management, drive methodology and best practices, and provide critical visibility into portfolio health for executive leadership.


Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Development: Directly manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of digital project managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Portfolio and Program Management: Oversee the intake, prioritization, and execution of the enterprise's digital project portfolio (including CRM, PIM, CPQ, and other digital platforms), ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Project Governance and Methodology: Establish and enforce a standardized project management framework, including best practices, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid) to ensure consistent and predictable project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: Serve as the central point of communication for the digital project portfolio. Develop and present clear and concise status reports, risk assessments, and performance metrics to executive leadership and key business stakeholders.
  • Resource and Budget Oversight: Manage the allocation of project management resources across the portfolio. Oversee project budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Implement a proactive risk management process for the portfolio, identifying potential issues, developing mitigation plans, and escalating critical concerns as needed to ensure project success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with platform owners, engineering leads, business analysts, and functional business leaders to ensure seamless project execution, clear communication, and effective dependency management.
  • Vendor and SOW Management: Oversee project-related vendor relationships, including the review of Statements of Work (SOWs), contract deliverables, and vendor performance to ensure value and accountability.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading a Project Management Office (PMO) or a team of project managers in a technology or digital environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing a portfolio of complex, large-scale digital projects from initiation to completion.
  • Expert-level knowledge of project and program management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and experience implementing these frameworks across an organization.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for a large portfolio.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills with a proven ability to develop talent.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and report at all levels of the organization, from project teams to the C-suite.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar).
