As a(n) Data Engineer within PNC's Asset Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
As a Data Engineer, you will be part of an engineering team where you will be responsible for technical design and development within our Asset Management line of business. Additionally, you will work with our Data Engineers to create and build data warehousing technology.
Due to the nature of this position we are seeking passionate Data Engineers. Candidates should have experience with the following:
Testing ETL and Database code involved with data storage and data warehousing.
Performing various ETL tests such as: System Integration Testing, Regression, A/B testing, etc.
Manage and maintain Oracle Databases, including schema design, indexing, partitioning and performance tuning.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all data layers.
Troubleshoot and resolve data related issues and provide root-cause analysis.
Monitor daily ETL jobs, implement error handling mechanisms, and ensure timely data delivery.
Job Description
- Develops, supports and implements data services for multiple applications to meet business objectives and user requirements. Uses technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions.
- Works closely with users, developers, operations and business partners to define data service requirements and the data preparation process development.
- Designs and builds data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms, according to key business processes and the overall workflow.
- Develops and implements data solutions for multiple applications to ensure its scalability, availability and maintainability.
- Implements data migration and transformation activities/processes to ensure the accuracy and security of data solutions.
