Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will support the Material Handling Organization on the front lines.  You will be the internal face of the group attending daily Gemba walks and MRB meetings. In addition, you will harness the material movement experience and look to implement best practices at JMA Wireless.

Responsibilities:

• Drive warehouse storage utilization and management
• Help design and develop best practice material movement strategies
• Develop and lead employees. Clear communication of daily activities and measurement tools to track and monitor workload (baselining)
• Face of material handling organization in Liverpool
• Attend Gemba meetings daily
• Attend MRB meetings daily
• Follow up on issues brought up and communicate to the team
• Lead cycle counting development program utilizing SAP in this function
• Monitoring and maintaining a high inventory accuracy level and the ability to report this data
• Develop a cadence for performance feedback and identify areas for development (employee retention)
• Help design and develop best practice material movement strategies
• Understand overtime metrics and look to reduce the need for additional hours going hand in hand with the improvement strategies above

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or similar degree or 4+ years’ experience in a warehouse or material handling setting
• 2+ years of leadership experience with experience in team development
• Experience in team development
• SAP experience a plus
• Be a team oriented and minded individual
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred
