eDiscovery and Litigation Support Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is hiring for an eDiscovery and Litigation Support Specialist to research, analyze, and resolve strategic and operational obstacles to improve eDiscovery activities which impact company’s operations and economic performance. Consults with internal and external parties regarding identification and implementation of strategies to improve performance and accuracy in all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) spectrum.

LOCATION

• This position can sit 100% remote. If located near Jacksonville, FL some onsite may be required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides full spectrum litigation support services to internal and external counsel based on the accepted standards of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model.
• Assists and guides FNF’s goals of modernizing litigation structure and workflow, to improve policies and procedures regarding preservation, collection, processing, production, and hosting of electronic data.
• Provides services directed toward improving all aspects of eDiscovery operations, analyzing, and resolving strategic and operating encumbrances within current operations.
• Analyzes and reviews strategies and best practices for early case assessment, processing of Electronically stored information (ESI); reviews and analyzes ESI and production of ESI and other documents.
• Reviews existing eDiscovery technologies utilized by FNF, emerging technologies in industry, and recommends enhancements or implementation of new software to maximize goals of improving efficiency and minimizing costs.
• Prepares document review protocols and search terms using words and phrases developed utilizing terms and connectors/Boolean logic.
• Acts as a liaison between internal and external litigation teams, the business, and IT to control the costs and mitigate the risks associated with the discovery process.
• Establishes best practices for identifying, preserving, collecting, and producing ESI.
• Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, skill, and experience.
• Requires 2+ years of discovery experience working with document collection, review, and production or equivalent experience.
• Must manage highly confidential information with professionalism and unquestionable integrity.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Law degree, advanced technical certification, or other pertinent graduate degree.
• Experience with eDiscovery Review and production software such as Relativity and Microsoft Office 365.
• Familiarity with executing and leveraging analytics within an eDiscovery database.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with internal and external contacts at all levels.
• Ability to work independently, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain patience in high pressure situations.

This remote position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $65,000 - $85,000 based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. The base salary is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability), matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
