Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in AWS, Docker, Kafka, Redshift, and CloudFormation, as well as knowledge in the Bioinformatics and Genomics domains.

Requirements:

• Certificates: AWS SA Associate, or AWS Data Engineering Specialty.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Dynamo, S3, API Gateway, StepFunctions, Lambda, ECS.
• Strong experience with Redshift (performance optimization).Solid experience with CloudFormation and Kafka.
• Bioinformatics & Genomics domain knowledge, or at least chemistry (crucial).
• Very advanced soft skills and responsibility level. Very proactive.
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of Snowflake.
• Experience with AWS Omics. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with a client to deeply understand their existing IT environments, applications, business requirements, and digital transformation goals.
• Collect and manage large volumes of varied data sets.
• Define data models that integrate disparate data across the organization.
• Design, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines.
• Service development.
• Support production environment.
