Position Overview:

Zenni is a mission-driven company with a singular focus: to bring affordable eyewear to anyone in the world who wants them. As a Senior Mixed-Methods UX Researcher, your research, data analysis, and strategic insights will directly inform the development of new products and features that meet the evolving needs of our business customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify customer pain points, user needs, and opportunities to improve the user experience. You will also collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and data scientists to prioritize research objectives and communicate findings.

What we want you to own in this role:

Conduct mixed-methods user research studies, including surveys, usability testing, interviews, and ethnographic research to gather insights into the needs and behaviors of B2B customers.

Analyze quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform product and design decisions.

Develop research plans and prioritize research objectives in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, product managers, and data scientists.

Collaborate with UX designers to develop user personas, user journey maps, and other UX artifacts that communicate user needs and pain points.

Communicate research findings and insights to cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and executives, through presentations, reports, and other communication channels.

Serve as a thought leader and advocate for user-centered design principles and practices within the B2B team and the wider organization.

Work with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities for innovation and growth, using research insights to inform the development of new products and features.

Mentor and coach junior researchers to develop their research skills and contribute to the growth of the research team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a learning and development or organizational development role.

Experience with learning management systems and e-learning development tools from selection to implementation.

Adult learning/education certification (nice to have).

Experience with assessment and psychometric tools.
