The responsibilties of the Evening Custodial Lead will be added to the existing custodial responsibilities.

Job Summary: 

• 260 days/12 month position
• 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• Hours: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

Pay Structure:

• Pay grade M120
• $18.41 - $27.79 per hour

• Pay rate is determined by years of experience

   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the contact person for all evening and night activities in the school.
• Ensure that all equipment related to evening and night activities is properly set up and broken down.
• Ensure that all exterior doors are securely shut when the building is closed.
• Arm the building alarm system at the conclusion of the shift.  
• Ensure all evening and night custodial related work is effectively competed and address areas of deficiency.
• Regularly communicate with the custodial supervisor regarding the status of work orders, custodial related concerns, and ensure that action is taken to resolve concerns.
• Provide information to the building supervisor that will contribute to the custodial evaluation process.  
• Oversee floor care and and floor related cleaning schedules.  
• Orientate substitute custodians regarding their work responsibilities and provide ongoing technical support and direction for the custodians.  
• Manage inventory and order building supplies
• Make reccomendations for disciplinary action to district supervisor
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Qualifications:

• Understand proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment,
• Understand cleaning methods and procedures,
• Perform moderate to heavy manual labor,
• Must have ability to perform daily tasks with minimum supervision,
• Communicate effectively

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
