Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Leads the pre-implementation planning of business transformations, including coordinating the optimal integration and creation of high-quality outcomes, delivering capabilities, managing partner relationships and continuously measuring and managing progress using multiple advanced methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).
Utilizes consulting and continuous improvement methodology expertise to analyze ambiguous business challenges, execute profitable growth strategies, optimize costs, recommend business and operation model transformations and lead large-scale program delivery, such as merger and acquisition integrations and divestitures.
Maintains frequent interactions with executives, keeping a pulse on the businesses and functions they support and serving as an advisor and leader with vision to business partners related to the implementation of new continuous improvement methods.
Challenges, refines and improves problem-solving methods, supplementing standard tools with innovative approaches, promoting knowledge-sharing and mentoring less experienced associates and business partners.
Demonstrates comfort when challenging the status quo, exhibiting strong collaboration and influencing skills.
Synthesizes and effectively communicates sophisticated concepts, ideas and recommendations to senior level executives.
Analyzes, justifies, and communicates business cases and returns on investments for change implementation. Summarizes the initiative’s cost savings using understanding of financial concepts and tracks success toward metrics.
Tackles business’ toughest problems and presents continuous improvement insights in a compelling way that inspires action. Cultivates hardworking groups of people and collaborates with multiple teams.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Director or Executive.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate Degree in STEM, finance, accounting or business administration; advanced degree preferred.
License/Certification/Designation: Certification in at least one continuous improvement methodology, such as Lean or Six Sigma. Technical competencies and certifications are strongly encouraged.
Experience: Ten or more years of related work experience.
