Position Overview 

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Manager to lead our Demand Generation (Sales Development Representative) team within the Oracle Health and Life Sciences business unit. This leader will own pipeline generation, team development, and collaborative go-to-market initiatives, aligning with Oracle’s strategy and values.

 

Please note, this is an in-office/hybrid role. We are looking only for candidates who will be able to be in our Austin, TX office 5 days a week for the first 6 months for onboarding and then 3 days a week (Tues-Thurs) thereafter. 

 

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales development, or inside sales, with 2+ years in a people manager role (equivalent practical experience) with preference in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Enterprise SaaS.
  • Proven record of leading teams to exceed pipeline and sales goals in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and motivational skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical mindset, with demonstrated ability to report on and act upon and deliver against KPIs.
  • Knowledge of demand generation industry trends and buying cycle realities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives focused on identifying and qualifying high-quality leads for Health and Life Sciences solutions.
  • Establish and monitor SDR performance metrics, ensuring alignment with pipeline and sales targets.
  • Drive best practices in demand generation, outbound prospecting, and inbound lead qualification to meet and exceed quarterly goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, COEs, and Operations to optimize lead handoff, campaign effectiveness, and feedback loops.
  • Leverage analytics and reporting tools to track results, forecast pipeline, and share insights with stakeholders.
  • Refine and optimize processes for scalability, continuous improvement, and enhanced prospect engagement.
  • Retain and develop top SDR talent.
  • Ensure alignment with Oracle’s sales methodologies, compliance requirements, and security practices.
  • Contribute to pipeline generation strategy, messaging refinement, and execution across key market segments.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $73,100 to $117,000 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
