Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define scopes for geotechnical investigations
  • Prepare proposals and travel to evaluation sites
  • Perform evaluation of subsurface conditions as they relate to the planned construction. The evaluation may include settlement calculations, bearing capacity calculations, pile capacity calculations, determination of foundation options, determination of hydraulic conductivity, etc
  • Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of geotechnical reports and boring logs
  • Oversee pile load tests, pile installation (driven, auger-cast, etc.), vibration monitoring, and Vibro-replacement projects
  • Provide continual development and maintenance of both internal and external relationships (clients, vendors, consultants).
  • Assist with the development of proposals and presentations for prospective projects. 
  • Has the ability to direct, train, supervise, and motivate others who he/she works with.
  • Coordinate preparation of invoice
  • Attend meetings as necessar
